Indonesia Convention & Exhibition (ICE) is joining the IMEX event in Frankfurt on 19-21 April 2016. IMEX in Frankfurt is the efficient, one-stop-shop for planners looking to book and organise worldwide meetings, events and incentive travel programmes. ICE, which is the largest convention and exhibition venue in Indonesia has been participating in this event since 2015.

Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) was inaugurated by the President of the Republic Indonesia, Joko Widodo on August 4, 2015. This spacious ICE consist of 10 exhibition hall of 50,000 m² and 50,000 m² outdoor exhibition area, convention hall of 4,000 m², 33 meeting rooms with various sizes and 12,000 m² pre function lobby area ​​. ICE also provides a large, user-friendly parking area that can accommodate up to 5000 cars.

The ICE project was built on the theme of energy efficient and environmentally friendly (green) building. The presence of ICE also offers many advantages such as easily accessible location, a very large room capacity with professional service, international standards specification, as well as other supporting facilities to meet the needs of events owners.

This international prestigious venue was built on a ​​22 hectares land, located in the area of ​​BSD City, Tangerang. After stage one of construction, Indonesia Convention Exhibition currently offers 120,000 square meters of display area for events of all sizes. ICE is developed by Sinar Mas Land and Kompas Gramedia and currently being operated by a Hannover based professional trade fair company, Deutsche Messe.

Within the area of ​​ICE there is a facility of 4 star hotel with up to 284 room capacity, which can certainly provide satisfying accommodation for the organizers of the events. Additional hotels, office buildings and additions to Indonesia Convention Exhibition will follow in the second stage of construction

There are several big events coming in at ICE this year including the August big event of Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) which is the biggest Auto Show in South East Asia and also the Indobuildtech as the main Building and interior exhibition in Indonesia which will be held on May, and not to mention the Indonesian Fair which is the largest folks fair in Indonesia, which will come in on October 2016.
